    Hydraulic Cylinder Servicing

Keep Your Equipment up and Running with Reliable Hydraulic Cylinder Servicing in WA

When earthmoving equipment or manufacturing machinery breaks down, there could be any number of reasons for the issue. If the problem has to do with the equipment’s hydraulic cylinder, though, then you need a repair technician who is experienced in the hydraulic niche. At Matchtec, we can play that role. Since 2009, we have been providing reliable and surehanded hydraulic cylinder servicing throughout Western Australia.

What We Can Do for Your Hydraulic Cylinders

In earthmoving, construction, engineering and manufacturing machinery, hydraulic cylinders often play a motor role for key mechanical linkages of the system. In other words, without a hydraulic cylinder, the equipment can’t move. A bulldozer can’t dig. A manufacturing system can’t play its role in the assembly line process. The list goes on and on, but the basic outcome is always the same: the system cannot operate the way it is supposed to.

Hydraulic cylinder servicing is required to repair or replace the cylinder, which can be a complicated process. All hydraulic cylinders are made up of numerous components, including barrels, pistons, rods, heads, seals and more. Damage to any of these components can impair the cylinder’s ability to do its job correctly.

When you call Matchtec for a hydraulic cylinder service in WA, we bring to the table a deep knowledge of how hydraulic systems work and how the cylinders are designed. We can reseal rods if broken seals are causing problems with the cylinder’s ability to maintain the desired pressure level. We can replace pistons, rods, barrels or heads if the existing parts are damaged or worn. If the cylinder itself is compromised and beyond repair, we can design and manufacture a custom replacement for you. No matter what is impeding the cylinder’s performance, we can identify the issue and provide a satisfactory solution.

Problems with a hydraulic cylinder—or a hydraulic system, in general—are not always easy to identify, especially for a technician who doesn’t have the niche focus that Matchtec does. However, because we are so familiar with hydraulics, we are extremely reliable when it comes to fault finding, servicing, repairs or replacements for any components of a hydraulic system. From cylinders to pumps to valve bodies and beyond, we know hydraulics, and we know how to get your hydraulic systems up and running once more.
